Book Club News...

I just finished The Big House and it was really good. I would encourage everyone to read it . It has a lot of history about Cape Cod but is mostly a memoir about cherished summers in this large home on a penisula. We will write our comments on the 28th and I will again choose a winner to receive a monogrammed bag. These are not made by me but will be monogrammed by me:)

Tory Burch Sale

I bought these two items yesterday from Tory Burch. Sizes are going fast, especially in these sandals...The top has a linen dickie and I love anything linen and white. All items are non-returnable though.

Baby Shower Gifts

These were the gifts three Drs. wives and I gave for a baby shower today. It is my first diaper bag but I lined it with a vinyl that has butterflies on it, so it can be easily wiped clean. Her husband is a coach so I used the school colors and mascot on the bib.

Summer Reading

My two older children and I went to Barnes and Noble today and I just love the smell and atmosphere...I could stay all day. I am MAKING my daughter read this summer if it kills her. My son, the sports fanatic, is a reader, and picked out a few of his own. This book looked fun so I grabbed it. Reminded me of Breakfast at Tiffanys.. I bought some Holly Golightly glasses at Target the other day.
Has anyone read Summer Crossing by the author who wrote Breakfast at Tiffanys?

Summer Camp

Had to take a break from cleaning the kitchen to watch my poo bear show me what he learned at basketball camp. Plus, I love his Mini Boden pajamas!

Still Mastering My Craft

This one has an inside pocket and I have been putting my little tag inside. It makes it look so professional...I don't think Kate Spade has anything to worry about. I am making one for my sis right now that will be my new style/design. I'll keep you posted!

First Birthday Dress

A friend is having a Cupcake Themed First Birthday and asked me to make a birthday dress...Hope she likes...
Last night I couldn't go to sleep thinking of my new purse design! We are playing baseball all weekend but I hope to show it soon! Have a fab weekend!
oh..and I am taking my book The Summer House...Really enjoying it...Did anyone read about the matriarch who went away "to rest" for her nervous breakdown and they prescribed chocolate everyday...of course, she came back "as big as a house" but chocolate does cure a lot:)

This Is What I Ordered...

If they had my size, I ordered it. I have been to their store while visiting Key West, and found some great things. The quality is excellent but I will admit the website is a little cheesy...No pinks and greens as I have too much...The capris are low riders...I will add a 3inch grosgrain ribbon to the dress in pink or black...

Cotton Pajamas

I love my Hue pajamas...I have the capri pants in green and white check and the cotton v-neck pink top. I also love my Pine Cone Hill ones...I have too many to name but always love any capri sets since I am only 5'2"...I LOVE this Pine Cone Hill sleeveless capri set in this Cape Cod toile. This goes with our Blogger Bookclub read..The Summer House...

My Daughter's Purse

As many purses as I make, this is what my precious pumpkin wanted. An early birthday present and graduation from 6th grade. It is actually very cute, small and goes with everything. I would carry it without the D & B logo showing...but I'm not in middle school...

Our Last Day of School!

It has been hectic around here and, of course, still sad in our area. Gang related and rumors of retaliation abound. My daughter is going to camp so I monogrammed some towels like these for her to take...these are for her friend who had a birthday yesterday!
