We had a fabulous time at the Preppy Potato trunk show. Everyone went crazy over the belts and headbands. It was a great day and fun times had by all.

Finally, a New Post!

I have been preparing for my Spring Fling this week so I have been pretty busy. What a fun day! I had a Preppy Potato Trunk Show and everyone loved the belts. Also had some art...here is a piece I purchased and hung over my ladies writing desk. It is painted on an old door. Also, I bought this pair of topiarys and I have the perfect place for them. Traveling Day

What a great vacation! But, I was jsut getting relaxed! I am very refreshed and can't wait to return home to monogram and sew! I am having a Spring Fling on Friday, April 27th from 1-5 featuring Preppy Potato. If you live in the area, e-mail me for directions! Toodles!

More Money Well Spent

I've mentioned this Touch of Whimsy Site, but truly can't get over these prices. They came wrapped in the cutest cello bag...and I am really "into" wrapping as I tie ribbons on all my monogramming.

Money Well Spent

Jenn at Seersucker Stories asked, what is the best money you have spent?...well, i said a glider rocker but...when my sister had these Kork-ease shoes, and I was too young to have them, I have searched high and low for them since then. Well...Hello...they are now back at Nordstrom and Zappos, which is where I purchased them. Came in one day, as usual.

These are actually navy, which I needed, Preppy or not. I don't care...LOVE THEM!

Thursday

Did anyone else see Babel and wonder why it was up for an Academy Award? And supporting actresses up for awards were Cate Blanchett and the Japanese girl, but to me the Housekeeper was the best. A couple of questions: Did anyone notice that the housekeeper dropped the children in the dessert without shoes on and then when she went for help had on her high heels in the sand? How did "the mom" really die, did she shoot herself or jump off the balcony? And, the deaf girl wrote the investigator that short note, but when he was reading it at the end, it appeared very long...Just a few questions...any answers?

No Easter Pics

So sad...I didn't even take Easter pictures this morning. It was sooo cold and and my azaelias had frozen:( They were beautiful Thursday! ) We didn't really break-out the new Easter clothes, but wore warm spring clothes instead. I think we are moving into the next stage of life...Harry did hunt Easter eggs Thursday at school and today at The Farm after lunch. But, no pics from today. Did get some at school though...

Purse Request

I really was just making these not to sell, but someone did request one for a birthday present. I knew she loved animal print. I liked the giraffe fabric and the inside is a brown linen damask with a periwinkle checked pocket. Kerry, at More, More, More can't get mad because she is on a spending freeze this month anyway. I promise to make her one soon...

Good Friday...

My husband left with my youngest two, heading towards Augusta for the third round of The Masters .You know I have said..."Nothing says preppy like 'The Masters'". Oldest child is going to a birthday dance party and he said..."can't I just take money?"...the overacheiver in me says NO!...But, I bought this cute bag for $7.00 made by Two's Company and I put a name on it. Great gift...I think! My oldest and I are home and I am hoping my friend will come watch "Walk the Line" while our two are at the party.
