Easter Blessings!

What a great day for us! Our youngest was baptized and it was very special. Our pastor had just brought back water from Phillipi where Paul baptized Lydia. He poured the water into the baptistmal pool and then my son was first to be baptized. It was very moving for me, as a mother, and I cried, but to have all three of mine baptized and to know Jesus is indeed a blessing. I am so not perfect, and neither are my children, but to have a Lord who loves us and forgives us, is ...shall I say fabulous! P.S. I have my machine back...And, I am moving on with my anger issues over it. May sell it on e-bay and buy an industrial-strenghth one. Embroidery is what I love....
***In 15 years, I have always taken pictures but guess what? Not one this year! I have failed!

We always have our babies baptized on Easter. At least the first two. But then our favorite pastor of all time was leaving at the end of the year and I broke with tradition and had the baby baptized on Christmas Eve. Still pretty good. BUT, I maintain that Easter is The Perfect day to baptize a child! Congrats!
