A Dalton High Football player was shot and killed today at the local community center. I don't know any details but he was a patient of my husband's. He was a college prospect and had a bright future ahead of him. If everyone cared and nobody cried...If everyone loved and nobody lied....If everyone shared and swallowed their pride...Then we'd see the day when nobody died... .

My heart goes out to your community. As the mom of a high school junior I can relate to your feelings. I hope they can figure out what happened and catch the person responsible.
