Back to School...Finally!

I got more done this morning waking up at six a.m. than the entire holiday season it seemed. Which is inspiring as I thought I was just going to be a glutonous loser...I have downloaded some new fonts and tried these out for my friend who leaves her stuff and we usually forget about them! Hope they still fit! They are not perfectly trimmed yet, but you get the idea. I think the dots will be cute for Spring!

I've been going to Vegas since I was little so I think it's family friendly (minus the gambling and smoke filled casinos). I LOVE the Mirage- great swimming pools with multiple pools and water slides for all different ages. When I was little I was happy just sitting by the pool all day! Almost all of the hotels have arcades for kids (MGM has a really good one).

Also check out Circus Circus (always packed but has a fun theme park), M&M World and Gameworks (near MGM), and Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. Since your kids are older I think you could also check out a show or two.

Glad you are back...I know so well what it is like to have everyone home at Christmas, then back to normal life. It is like a rebirth!!
Your adorable new projects make me drool. Thanks for your sweet comment on my latest post. I am tortured by the thought that "Katrina" posts might turn people off. So thanks, I hope I did not offend you with yet another "Katrina" memory. Bless you for listening and respondin
My best to you and yours, Sandi

They look cute on the blog but I know they would be even more adorable on a body! They would be especially great during the cold days and nights! Hint hint.

By the way preppy but sophisticated girls-if any of you are in Atlanta or on the way to Jacksonville, FL or Nashville,TN or then Dallas, TX or NM or LA-and are looking for some beautiful turkish rugs I've got a great direct source coming your way. We met a super nice 5th generation rug maker when we took a cruise to the Greek isles and to Ephaseus, Turkey. He is in the States for a month or so and would love to come to your house to show you the rugs, no middle man. Many of my friends have purchased them and are really happy with their buy. Let Angie know and she'll put you in touch with me. :-) What a deal and great service to boot!
