How is everyone doing on our book of the month Burning Bright? No offense to Tracy Chevalier, but I am just not "getting into it." I will keep plugging along but our next book will need to have a romance, an affair and a murder... The circus in this book is based on the Philip Astley circus of this time period. I am plugging away, hoping to finish it this coming weekend up at the lake. But the boy is reading it too, so he keeps swiping it from me! I do agree, I like a little more, oh I don't know, excitement? I am enjoying this one though. I wonder if I should let the boy comment ;)
